Hey there musical theatre fans! It's been a long time since my last newsletter (though the calendar continues to be constantly updated, of course) – but I wanted to reach out with some exciting news.
Every August, of course, I add all the musically-oriented Fringe shows – of which there's always a healthy batch. This year, besides the opening preview show, there's 15 musicals in the Fringe!
This time around, though, to best present the Fringe shows, I've finally made a long-desired improvement to the site. That's right - the VMTC has been Fringe-ified!
In the daily show list on the front page, any Fringe show now has a special "tag" to set it apart - look for the small orange "Fringe" icon next to the title.
What's more, you can click that tag anywhere you see it, and you'll be taken to a list of ALL the musical Fringe shows on the VMTC!
Finally, there's an easy-to-spot link on the side of every page that takes you to the full Fringe musical list.
Speaking of that list... here it is (with links):
- Vancouver Fringe Festival Opening Night “Fringe-for-all”
- La Palabra en el Tiempo
- Auguries of Innocence
- Roy & Janet
- Die Hard: The Musical-ish
- 50 Fun Things
- Jasper in Deadland
- A Sad-Ass Cabaret
- Tomatoes Tried To Kill Me But Banjos Saved My Life
- TrudeauMania
- Baba Yaga and The Black Flower
- The Other Side of the Flood
- Is That How Clowns Have Sex? A One-Woman, Queer Clown Sex-Ed Show
- Poly Queer Love Ballad
- Big Queer Filipino Karaoke Night!
- Flute Loops
Thanks for your interest in and support of the VMTC, and I'll see you at a musical!
