For the past 25 years, many people have begun their holiday season by attending the Fraser Valley Gilbert and Sullivan Society’s annual musical panto. This year’s silver anniversary production of "Snow White and the Vertically Challenged Excavators" promises to continue the Society’s tradition of delivering loads of family-friendly fun.
Will the wicked Queen convince everyone that she’s the most beautiful woman in the land? Will Snow White meet her Prince Charming? Join them, along with Miss Heard, Yin, Yang the seven Vertically Challenged Excavators and other hilarious panto characters, as they transport you to the magical enchanted forest, complete with toe-tapping tunes, lively dancing and general panto mayhem.
Get ready to belt out the audience participation song, boo the villains and cheer for the good guys. Beautiful sets and awesome costumes will paint a kaleidoscope of colour as the talented cast take you on a memorable and exciting panto journey.
"Snow White" will be presented at the Surrey Arts Centre Main Stage theatre, 88th Avenue and King George Highway, from November 24 to December 5. Evening performances, Wednesday to Saturday are at 7:00 pm, with matinees Saturday and Sunday at 2:30 pm. Note the new earlier start time for "Snow White’s" evening performances.
There are “bushels” of tickets available now, but not for too long! The G&S society’s last three productions sold out, so it’s best to order your tickets now!
