Casting is ongoing for the the Players' annual Christmas fare for young and old alike. This musical adaptation captures the beloved story of the beautiful young girl who is imprisoned by a hideous beast, only to see beneath surface appearances and discover love. The heart-warming romance gets the full panto treatment: hilarious new takes on familiar songs, zany characters, and side-splitting puns.
Still required is a male actor for a major comedic role. Can be anywhere from 20 to 50 years of age, with a strong comic flair, quick wit, confident singing voice and ability to perform basic dance moves.
Performance dates are December 3-5, December 10-12 and December 17-19, 2010 in the Theatre at Hendry Hall, 815 East 11th Street, North Vancouver, with all proceeds to the Harvest Project.
