A quick news flash about some exciting stuff coming up over the next couple of days...
At the Kay Meek Centre on Saturday, it's Culture Day - which means some high-calibre artists are performing free, all day long! That includes the Triple Threat Duet: Michelle Creber and Natalie Sharp sing, act and dance their way through an upbeat programme of pop, jazz and musical theatre selections interspersed with hilarious comedy.
Meanwhile, over at the Fringe, the musical "13" was voted a Pick of the Fringe - not too shabby, especially considering this is the youngest cast ever for a Fringe show, and it's the first Fringe for the brand-new production company, Awkward Stage Productions. Catch them at the Waterfront this Friday or Saturday, and then at the Norman Rothstein Theatre October 7-11.
Check out the Vancouver Musical Theatre Calendar for full details on both shows!
