Mark Vandenberg's Hunger Games: The Musical is a pop-culture parody of Suzanne Collins’ action-packed novel and feature film. Along with skewering the plot, character and themes from the original story, the musical is packed with upbeat mainstream pop songs with new creative lyrics. Hunger Games: The Musical was first produced in 2013, written by Mark Vandenberg for his high school and turned out to be a gigantic success. It’s now been “adultified” for the Fringe.
